The Shiva Foundation has launched a self-assessment scorecard and supporting guidance for Local Authorities to tackle Modern Slavery during procurement processes.

They will be hosting a webinar series for local authorities across April and May, where they will be taking a deep dive into each of these thematic areas with a specialist guest speaker:

• Training and modern slavery leads (1-2pm Thursday 20^th April)
• Risk assessments and risk mapping (1-2pm Tuesday 25^th April)
• Procurement protocols, supplier engagement and auditing (1-2pm Thursday 27^th April) 
• Reporting and remediation (1-2pm Tuesday 2^nd May)
