Aimed at community safety professionals and anyone with an interest in understanding how by using local information and working in partnership our local government and the publics views are used in a way to make communities more attractive, accessible and safer places to live and work.
This session will be led by Welsh Local Government’s Kaarina Ruta where she will explain a number of different areas including:
– An overview of the 20mph legislation
– Impacts of obstructions on the highway
– A forward look at addressing the dangers of pavement parking
– An introduction to the new road safety strategy
