The Wales Safer Communities Network is proud to support ASB Awareness Week 2024, an initiative spearheaded by Resolve ASB. Taking place from 18 – 24 November, this nationwide campaign aims to raise awareness about anti-social behaviour (ASB) and showcase effective ways to tackle it in our communities.
This year’s theme, #MakingCommunitiesSafer, highlights the importance of collaboration, community engagement, and supporting victims in creating safer environments for everyone. Each day of the week focuses on a different aspect of ASB prevention, with daily themes offering opportunities to engage and reflect:
- Monday 18: Partnership Day
- Tuesday 19: Victims Day
- Wednesday 20: “Let’s Talk ASB” Day
- Thursday 21: Community Heroes Day
- Friday 22: Young People’s Day
- Saturday 23: ASB and Health Day
- Sunday 24: Community Action Day
Free webinars during ASB Week
As part of the week-long event, Resolve ASB is also hosting a series of free webinars through the Resolve Summit (2.0). These webinars will delve into the daily themes, featuring expert speakers and special guests. It’s a valuable opportunity to hear from sector leaders about innovative approaches to tackling ASB.
