The St David Awards are the national awards of Wales.
Each year there are 11 St David Awards, the first 10 of which are nominated for by the public:
- Business
- Bravery
- Community Champion
- Culture
- Environment
- Innovation, Science and Technology
- Public Service
- Sport
- Volunteer
- Young Person
- First Minister’s Special Award
The finalists and winners are decided upon by the First Minister of the Welsh Government and their advisers.
The St David Awards celebrate the exceptional achievements of people from all walks of life in Wales and abroad. Nominations for the 2026 awards close 26 September 2025.
