The Wales Safer Communities Network would like to wish you a very Happy St David’s Day.
St David, the patron Saint of of Wales, is known for the famous quote ‘Do the little things”. In a time where rising costs are impacting on all service providers perhaps there is something little you could do to make your community a little safer?
Here are some suggestions:
- Check on Your Neighbour
- Get involved with Neighbourhood Watch
- Coordinate a litter pick- Spring Clean Cymru 2024 – Keep Wales Tidy – Caru Cymru
- Coordinate a walking bus to or from school
- Volunteer with a local organisation- Volunteering Wales
- Make a blood donation – Welsh Blood Service
If you have a few minutes spare, what better day than St David’s Day to make a decision to do something little to make a big difference!
