Understanding vulnerabilities and addressing risks

On Tuesday 10 June we welcome Donna Sharland from Neurodivergence Wales to talk about the links between Neurodivergence and extremism. This seminar will raise awareness of the unique vulnerabilities neurodivergent individuals may face in relation to radicalisation and discuss effective strategies to manage and mitigate these risks.

We will cover:

  • An overview of neurodivergence
  • The vulnerabilities of neurodiverse individuals and their journey to extremism
  • Assessing the risks and how to manage them, including the importance of early intervention
  • Strategies and best practices

This session will equip attendees with essential knowledge to help protect vulnerable individuals and create safer communities. The event will feature a one-hour presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A session, offering an opportunity for deeper discussion and practical takeaways.
