Partner Vacancy: Support Officer – Anti-Social Behaviour

Applications for this role are restricted to existing officers or staff of a UK police force or UK policing organisation.

The College of Policing works with key stakeholders such as the Local Policing and Prevention co-ordination committees to ensure that Neighbourhoods Officers and staff are recognised as experts and are properly trained to provide Neighbourhood Policing from high quality.

The Government’s new priority is to tackle anti-social behaviour linked to levelling up and a specific resource is needed. This role will support Community Policing SME to draft and develop evidence-based policing standards and guidelines within a specific area of ​​anti-social behaviour, engage with and advise police forces, agencies and other stakeholder organisations, to support the work of promoting and embedding professional practice across policing.

This role will support the research and collection of information and best available evidence from a range of sources and build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure officers and staff are equipped to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • Significant work experience in area of subject matter expertise, e.g. anti-social behaviour.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective, partnerships with the ability to negotiate with others to achieve timely results.
  • Ability to produce and present clear, coherent, concise, and prompt reports and papers.
