After much consideration, the Wales Safer Communities Network has decided to leave X (formerly known as Twitter).

This decision hasn’t been made lightly. Over time, we’ve seen a significant drop in meaningful engagement on the platform, alongside a growing toxic environment and the increasing spread of misinformation. These changes no longer align with our values of collaboration and being evidence led, and do not promote community well-being.

Our accounts will stay open so we can respond to DMs, but you won’t see any new content from us. We remain committed to our mission of supporting community safety practitioners across Wales and will continue to share updates, resources, and opportunities through our website and other channels.
