The REFLECT Project works with partnerships throughout South Wales in order to successfully engage, raise awareness and educate children and young people aged between 11-25 in the consequences of actions and more positive decision making.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service will champion the needs of children and young people wherever they are on their life journey, ensure we give them a voice and provide support and education to enhance positive decision making.
Group Suitability
- Young People age 11 – 25
- Displaying risky or challenging behaviour
- At risk of entering the Criminal Justice System
- At risk of re-entering the Criminal Justice System
- Accessing an alternative education provision
- Is not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)
- Any other risk factors relating to the display of risky or challenging behaviour
Aims
- To help reduce children and young peoples’ likelihood of involvement in antisocial or offending behaviour.
- Educate children and young people’ about the consequences of their
actions and how situations that they may find themselves in could impact on themselves, their family and their communities.
Interventions
The REFLECT Project has the flexibility to tailor interventions to meet the needs of individual groups.
