Hate Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour

Making streets and communities safer

On 21 May we will be looking at Hate Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and what is being done to make our streets and communities safer.

The StreetSnap app has been developed to eradicate hateful visuals from our streets. Dr Lella Nouri led on the development of this co-produced app which has now been rolled out and allowing council teams and their partners to see and analyse data relating to community cohesion. She will be joining us to tell us more about the app and the Flip the Streets project which uses art to bring communities together.

Resolve host an annual ASB Awareness Week, and this year have four asks of Government to help make communities safer. Sharon McLoughlin, Head of Professional Practice at Resolve, will be explaining more about these asks and how practitioners in Wales can get involved with the Awareness Week.

The recording and speaker presentations are below.
