Right Care, Right Person

Rollout progress and implementation

Right Care, Right Person (RCRP) is an England and Wales wide initiative led by the National Police Chiefs’ Council. It will ensure people in need of mental health advice or support are receiving the right care, from the agency with the most appropriate skills.

RCRP is being rolled out across Wales by the police in a phased approach overseen by the RCRP Wales National Partnership Group.

This one-hour seminar on 25 June will allow practitioners to stay up to date on the progress of the rollout, including the timeframe and implementation steps, and what this means for frontline practitioners in Wales.

There will be a forward look at phases 3 and 4 of the rollout, and an update on where the four Welsh forces are, including lessons that have been learned so far. We will also hear from the Chair of the RCRP Wales National Partnership Group on the national communications plan, the governance structure and how practitioners can raise concerns.
