Piloting Devolved Decision Making for Child Victims of Modern Slavery

The Home Office has launched a new funding opportunity under the Devolved Decision-Making Pilot for Child Victims of Modern Slavery, with the aim of expanding the pilot to additional sites across the UK.

The Devolved Decision-Making Pilot Grant Competition is now live and open to applications. The deadline for submitting bids is 14 May 2025. Community safety practitioners in Wales are encouraged to share this opportunity with colleagues in local authorities.

About the pilot

This pilot supports local decision-making around the identification and support of children who may be victims of modern slavery. The approach aims to bring decisions closer to the child, ensuring timely and appropriate support that meets their needs.

By expanding the pilot to more locations, the Home Office seeks to test and evaluate different local models of decision-making to inform future national practice.

Registering on the eSourcing Portal

Applications will be managed through the Home Office Jaggaer eSourcing Portal. To apply, organisations must first register on the system.

Please allow up to 24 hours for registration approval.

To register, you’ll need to provide:

  • the full legal name of your organisation
  • your DUNS number (a unique nine-digit number from Dun & Bradstreet)
  • a brief profile of your organisation, including its size

Note: If you’ve previously registered with the Crown Commercial Service Jaggaer Portal, you will still need to register separately with the Home Office Jaggaer Portal, as they are independent systems.
