Why are we running a Safer Communities Awareness Week?
This year, the Wales Safer Communities Network is hosting its first ever Safer Communities Awareness Week for Wales. The Network is the strategic voice that champions and connects everyone involved in community safety in Wales so they can create safer communities – locally, regionally and nationally.
The Awareness Week is an opportunity to raise the profile of community safety work and highlight some of the innovative work that is taking place across Wales.
If you’d like to submit any case studies or good practice examples to be shared throughout the week, please do so by emailing us at safercommunities@wlga.gov.uk with the subject line ‘Safer Communities Awareness Week – Case Studies’.
We look forward to celebrating the work that is taking place to make our communities safer across Wales with you!
